Amazing Grace. Amazing Love

Posted on Posted in Faith

Today I write:
That one day, just one day; we all shall see this LOVE and be turned to it with an undivided LOVE and OBEDIENCE.

That we will realize how much of the worry we burn our nerves for is like: a dot compared to a boundless, shore-less, limitless, depth-less, immeasurable and endless blessings promised in eternity.

For as much as it takes God’s power to create and sustain life (which by every measure is costly); it had to take the death of God to save even one mankind. Now that’s how expensive salvation is. Its not cheap by any measure.

(How about this conversation)
Buyer: I need some salvation.
Seller: Do you have enough cash for it?
Buyer: How much?
Seller: Calculate the cost of creating a universe, add life to it and sustain it even for a minute.
Buyer: That’s a lot! (Surprised)
Seller: And that’s not all. Multiply that by the cost of one life by the thousands and billions that has lived and passed through the earth if not all the other planets that life exists. Still this doesn’t compare to even a piece of the total cost…
Buyer: Then what’s the cost?
Seller: It costs the life of the creator and sustainer of all that.

Or let me put it this way, how much would it take to develop/ create a planet and put it in a space and have it revolve round a star which it self needs energy to burn to keep life/ even the minutest of life alive? All from nothing. I hope you get it.

No amount of power could remove sin and save mankind but the death of God.
A God with such an amount of power immeasurable, could have easily turned his back on us and create a new man and a new earth; But that is not the LOVE of God. That’s not the God we serve.

Our God, looked beyond our fault and saw our need. And supplied our need. Himself.
Its called AMAZING GRACE. God, for the love of mankind, came in the form of man. Lived a perfect life for you and me. Blameless. Led to the cross to face a death He didn’t deserve. Only you and I. He took it silently like a blameless lamb. Died of a broken heart.
The good news is GOD has power over death. He rose again and now we all can have faith in His promise. Through His blameless sacrifice, we have hope.

So I write:
I am one of the worst of sinners. You may think am being too hard on myself; no. The worst sinner is a christian who has a form of godliness but in one aspect of his life, he denies the power of God.
And so as I write: I thank God. Never would I have any hope. To some, this might seem as foolishness. That I shall not argue about. Leave me alone with my Jesus. He’s all I have. Actually, I have nothing. He has me. He bought my freedom. He gave His life for me. Do I then have my life? No. I am dead now; Christ now lives in me.

For so long I have prayed to understand the love of God. Am just getting to understand it. Its huge to grasp it just in this life. Still eternity might not be enough to know all about His love.

I sing:
AMAZING GRACE, shall always be my song of praise.
For it was grace that bought my liberty
I do not know just why He came to love me so
He looked beyond my fault and saw my need

I shall forever lift my eyes to Calvary
To view the cross where Jesus died for me
How marvelous the grace that caught my falling soul
He looked beyond my fault and saw my need.

God bless you. AMAZING GRACE.
